i was really excited in trying this gel but it was never delivered, i’m still really interested in trying it though.

Its looks smaller than I expected, but oh my gosh its so good. A little bit goes a long way! My curls are so defined; cant wait to do a full wash n go.
I work out 6 days a week so I've been looking fir a strong hold gel that could get me a good 5-7 days. I came across an add for this gel and immediately ordered. When I received the gel I immediately was concerned. The texture is more like an edge control. Upon application it literally straightened my coils and no amount of brushing or scrunching would bring it back. But as they say - trust the process - so I kept going. After drying most of hair dried straight with a strong hold. I will say the cast breaks easily with oil but the hair is locked into place. I will say my edges were laid and didn't move. I literally had to shampoo this out. I will keep it for my edges and slick backs but that's not what I purchased it for so I'm a little dissapointed.
I apologize that you experienced that, you might've been using too much gel. I've never experience my hair straightening with the gel but I do hope that you enjoy using it for your slick backs!
Ya’ll this is the best gel EVERRR. I know 3c/4a, high density, low porosity hair. I’ve been natural for 23 years and this is the BEST gel ever. It leaves an amazing hold and I’m fan of the cast. I like to leave it to prolong my hair, but it definitely breaks with oil. No flaking either ! Every gel I have tried flakes my hair, even if the products mix well together. I’m about to loc my hair and I am so hurt that I did not find this brand sooner. This would have definitely changed my decision. If you have 3c-4c hair (especially low porosity) YOU NEED THIS GEL! Don’t be alarmed by how thick the gel is either lol. And TRUST, a little goes a long way!
